University of Aberdeen Research Showcases the Power of tNavigator

We were delighted to learn that Sean Kelly from the University of Aberdeen used tNavigator in his latest research, recently featured in GEO EXPRO.

🎤 Sean shared:
“Using tNavigator from RFD, I was able to build a reservoir grid fine enough to replicate exactly what I saw in the video. This wouldn’t have been possible just a few years ago, but now it is. That’s why this approach hasn’t really been adopted by geoscientists and reservoir engineers—the models simply weren’t detailed enough to accurately represent subsurface behaviour.”

Sean’s work is a great example of how advanced modelling tools are enabling new levels of geological and reservoir insight—helping researchers push the boundaries of what’s possible in subsurface understanding.
